Our Story

Omoide Tours was born from a simple belief — that the best experiences in Japan are the ones most visitors never find.

I’m Harry, a British guide with a degree in Japanese and History and a decade of Japanese language study. After joining the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum in 2020, I spent years learning the stories, secrets, and history behind some of Japan’s most treasured living artworks.

What started as a deep personal passion for Japanese culture became something I couldn’t keep to myself. Every tour is a guided conversation — not a rehearsed script — built around the places, people, and stories that make Japan truly special.
